I have to say that I love to travel and I feel very lucky to have been able to visit over 20 countries so far in my lifetime. I cherish the wonderful memories and the friends that I have made over the years. My favorite places to visit are in Europe. I love the history – knowing that structures have been there for centuries and have stood the test of time. In the countries I’ve visited, they also seem to have a healthy respect for the environment and know how to balance their work and leisure life; taking the time to rest, eat well and enjoy the outdoors. The best part of travel for me is learning a new language, communing with the people and sampling the local fare. The worst part of travel is packing and unpacking suitcases! I was thinking the other day that this might be why I am so passionate about Social Media. It allows me to ‘travel’ and meet new people.
